Description
The Xinsu:
Individuals that choose the path of the Xinsu learn to control numerous dark magic spells with deadly effect. Because of this, their appearance generally portrays their devotion to Darkness. They commonly have chains on their clothing and spikes, though the latter serves a practical purpose, aiding with Blood spells.
The three categories of Dark magic are Void, Blood & Shadow.
VOID MAGIC deals destructive kinetic force, this resembles a black and purple flame surrounded by green electricity. Void magic can be used as a blast, beam or even thrown like projectiles.
BLOOD MAGIC creates various curses, & barriers. Often draining an enemies Stamina or Energy. However Blood magic also requires the user to sacrifice some of their own blood to perform the spell.
SHADOW MAGIC creates magical manifestations of the users body, Hands, feet etc to perform devastating melee-like attacks while maintaining a safe distance. Advanced users can create entire shadows to fight independently.

The Xinsu, like other magical groups were originally going to require a polearm to enhance their magical abilities. But this idea was scrapped to show them as more of a deadly force without any weapons, and to differentiate them from the Melee groups.
(The Shithren Polearm would have been a SCYTHE.)
